Let’s Make a Spooky Halloween Pendant
This Halloween create your own Magic…
You will start with a piece of sterling silver sheet and create a spooky shape or design: Bat, Owl, Spider, Sickle, Skull, Spider Web, Pumpkin, Ghost, Black Cat or whatever comes to you!
Start with drawing your design for your pendant, let your imagination go – and bring your A game!
Skills:
You will be shown how to set up jeweler’s saw frame with blade properly oriented
– You learn how to finish sawn edges through progression of files and sandpaper: a short demonstration of filing and sanding technique on exposed and interior edges before returning to practice samples
– You can stamp or texture on to your piece to apply additional details to your piece: a brief demonstration of stamping technique with time for students to experiment with different stamps and textures.
– You can also apply patina to darken metal surfaces, create additional details, and highlight texture
And Voila’ you have created your own perfect Spooky Halloween piece!
